Author of Yoga: The Modern Lifestyle

Hello, I'm glad you're here.

Writing about Yoga and Ayurveda from Agra, the city of the Taj Mahal — and the living tradition of Indian wellness.

I still remember the first time I tried oil pulling. It was 6am in winter, standing in my kitchen in Agra, swirling a tablespoon of sesame oil around my mouth while wondering if I had completely lost my mind. That was three years ago. I haven't missed a morning since.

That's the spirit behind this blog — taking practices that have been refined over centuries of Ayurvedic and yoga tradition, and finding out what they actually feel like to live. Not the Instagram version. Not the textbook version. The real, sometimes awkward, consistently life-changing version.

What you'll find here

Three content pillars guide everything:

  • Yoga Practice — asanas, pranayama (Nadi Shodhana, Kapalbhati, Bhramari), meditation, yoga nidra, morning and evening sequences.
  • Ayurveda & Naturopathy — doshas, Dinacharya (daily routine), herbs like ashwagandha, triphala, brahmi, seasonal cleanses, home remedies.
  • Modern Lifestyle Integration — using these practices to address real modern challenges: stress, poor sleep, gut issues, hormonal imbalance, desk-worker posture, digital overwhelm.

My promise

I won't give you medical advice. I won't be preachy. I won't tell you that you need to overhaul your life. Every post ends with one small thing you can try today — because that's how any real practice starts.
